Things are complicated; it seems so long since happiness abound
It's not lost for good; your happiness can still be found
If I could take away your burdens; I'd make them my own
So you could have peace and not feel so alone
My worry for you is constant; every day and night
I want to protect you; I'll fight your fights
I'll do what I can to shield you from sorrow
I'm here today and I'll be here tomorrow
When you hurt there's no words to describe
My heart it aches; my eyes they cry
