Heresies Poem by Bolami lawal

Heresies

I have listened to men talk of
Race, politics and religion
Self seeking barriers crafted by men
I often hear the talk on justice
One good word which failed to live it course.
Such are the wiles of a skilled craftsman
Man; being man's own downfall

A man was born into a clan;
Upon which he lacks control
Yet; in same he is damned to die
Tell me;
Who made the laws and made them immutable?
Untold artifice,
Fallacies that must be recycled
If man would find it's basis,
Man also; must be the pawn....

Excatly how do you mean?
When you said
All animals are equal
Have you had a glance at your fingers?
What lesson on equity do you learn?
I found no such word as comrade here,
Man must survive by the fittest.
Impecable shenanigans;
Such are the wiles of a skilled craftsman
Man; being man's own dawnfall!
