Hey! Darkness Poem by Annie Gbadam

Hey! Darkness

Hello, darkness, fatigue has found its way,
Weary and sleepy, at the end of the day.
Heavy eyelids droop, a yawn escapes,
In the arms of slumber, my tiredness drapes.

The night beckons softly, a soothing call,
To rest and rejuvenate, surrender all.
As stars twinkle above, dreams take flight,
In the embrace of sleep, I bid you goodnight.
