Hidden Love Poem by Athena Zacharia

Hidden Love

Eyes like the ocean,
Hair like the sun,
Filled with devotion,
Yet you gave me none.

Our walk round the bend,
Heart broke to shatters,
Cried to my friends,
Was told none of it matters.

A kiss in the dark,
The smile on your face,
Took me to the park,
And went your own way.

So when I fall asleep,
With no one beside,
I'll think of the love,
That I have to hide.
