Hide and Seek, a childhood game we know
Playing in the fields, where wildflowers grow
With laughter and joy, we run to and fro
Hiding in plain sight, with nowhere to go
Hide and Seek, we play with glee
Running and chasing, you and me
Counting down, one, two, three
Ready or not, here I come and seek thee
Hide and Seek, behind the old oak tree
Whispers and giggles, we try not to be seen
But the rustling leaves give us away, you see
Giggles turn to shrieks, we run and flee
Hide and Seek, in the fields of green
Among the tall grass, we become unseen
Hiding with the bugs and bees
Giggling with excitement, we can't believe
Hide and Seek, under the bright blue sky
Beneath the clouds, we lay and hide
Imagining shapes in the passing by
Giggles and joy, we cannot hide
Hide and Seek, in the playground's maze
Climbing and crawling, in different ways
Never giving up, we continue to play
Sweat and dirt, we're all in a daze
Hide and Seek, in the shadows of the night
With flashlights and whispers, we keep out of sight
The stars above, our only guiding light
In the dark, we feel a sense of fright
Hide and Seek, in the depths of the woods
With tall trees and branches, that's where we stood
Tip-toeing and hiding, as best as we could
Giggles and laughter, in the silence, it stood
Hide and Seek, behind the old barn door
Among the hay bales, we try to soar
Giggling so hard, we roll on the floor
This game, we can't get enough, we want more
Hide and Seek, in the city streets
Amid the hustle and bustle, where we meet
In alleyways and corners, we try to defeat
The seeker's gaze, we're quick on our feet
Hide and Seek, in the world of fantasy
Among the fairies and dragons, we try to be
Lost in the magic, we can't help but see
The beauty of our imagination, so free
Hide and Seek, in the ocean deep
Among the corals and fishes, we try to creep
Hiding in caves, where the secrets keep
This game, we play even in our sleep
Hide and Seek, a game we'll never outgrow
Memories of childhood, forever they'll flow
In our hearts, this game will always glow
Hide and Seek, a timeless game, we'll always know.
