Hierarchy Of Death Poem by Mike Adam

Hierarchy Of Death

Since when was one death
More important than another?

A churning bacteria
In the gut

A lion on the plain
A citizen of Gabon
Of France
Of USA

An artist beheaded
A sparrow on the ground

Since when, good lord
Did one death
Outrank another
