High school dropout, lost in the wind
No diploma or degree to defend
Dreams once wild, now seem to fade
Leaving behind a life unmade
High school dropout, a troubled child
Felt like the system was far too wild
Couldn't find a way to fit in
So he left, without a second's spin
High school dropout, misunderstood
With no one to guide, he did what he could
Thought he knew it all, but was just a kid
Now he's lost in the world, without a bid
High school dropout, street lights so bright
Felt like he was finally taking flight
No more rules, no more class
But soon his freedom will come to pass
High school dropout, the streets were tough
A whole new world, so rough and gruff
No one to turn to, no one to care
But he had to survive, that was his only prayer
High school dropout, time flew by
But he never stopped asking himself why
Why did he give up so easily
Why didn't he just try, just be
High school dropout, now a grown man
But still wandering, with no solid plan
Every day filled with regret
For the choices he made, he can't forget
High school dropout, it's never too late
To turn your life around, to change your fate
Pick up a pen, start writing your story
Don't let anyone tell you, you're not worthy
High school dropout, don't give up hope
Don't let your failures make you mope
You have potential, you have worth
Don't let anyone bring you down to earth
High school dropout, you're not alone
There are others out there, who have also flown
But it's never too late, to go back to school
To chase your dreams, to break the rules
High school dropout, it's not too late
To prove to yourself, that you are great
You can still make something of your life
Don't let your past, be the cause of your strife
High school dropout, you can rise
Above the failures, above the lies
You are capable, you are strong
You have the power, to right the wrong
High school dropout, don't give in
You have the strength, you have the will within
To make a difference, to pave your own way
To prove to the world, that you're here to stay
High school dropout, it's not just a title
It's not a label, you have to fight or stifle
It's a story, a journey, a lesson to learn
But it's never too late, for your fire to burn
High school dropout, break free from the mold
You are meant for greatness, you are meant to be bold
Don't let your mistakes, define who you are
You have the power, to reach for the stars
High school dropout, it's time to shine
To leave the past behind, to leave it behind
Pick yourself up, and start anew
For the world is waiting, for someone like you.
