hills Beyond The Sunset Poem by Thomas Cronin

hills Beyond The Sunset

Rating: 2.7

Me and My guide, on the grassy hillside
Weeds that died, our happy landslide
Our hearts beat, husband and bride
Hope For every man woman and child

Eternal happiness a wish untold
A dream of hills, the gnoll fortold
A dusty hill off the spanish torn roads
Bathe in the grass, stripped of our clothes

A place of home, eternal sunshine
A place of music, everlasting chime
Past this sun, just one more time
One hill left, a struggling climb

A heart in my palm and yours in the other
A life but forgotten, me and my brother
Stripped of my life, I face my final test
Over these hills beyond the sunset
