Him Poem by Simbarashe Raymond Mudukuti

Him

I love him because he was my first
He took it mercilessly and I wanted him to
I wanted to keep him that all I know
For me he was e value owner
His the only one who could testify that I was pure
With him I was juggling with a lot of fantasies
Him being the father of my 2 kids
But things started to fade
Along the way I got carried away
A guy every blue moon
He got frustrated
He talked less
The job he said, was stressing him
He started off with a blunt then two, until he was in too deep
Now I can't even talk to him,
Always high n drowsy
All he is concerned with is catching his next high
He is part of the addicted club boys
He was a cute baby cub
Now an angry Mufasa
