I know..
Along the way I messed up
For I thought this.. Us was just that
But then in me I realised it's more than what I liked to believe.
My armour chose you
My soul yearns for you in your absence
My body clings for you to be close

Is it the love that is within me
Or that I'm used to your companion?
Writing this poem of idolatry
Makes it easy for me to open up my ardour
I may not live to show it
But deep down - without you a day
My life becomes a complete mess..

Seeing you brightens my day
In your arms I feel safe
In your embrace I feel the warmth..
Maybe it shows in you - there's more to what I see and feel...
May I open up my heart and jot these lines
May I live a mark of remembrance in your heart
May I be more than I may seem to be in you....

I know its a little bit odd
To jot these kind of lines
But deep down I long for you
I wish it doesn't end here
I pray you see beneath what I'm offering
I wish you'd need me as much I need you..
