His body on the cross signified alot
The best day in history that should never be forgot
Each drop of blood showing us mercy
Yet we still seem to be in controversy
Unconditional love even when we don't deserve it
All of our sins that day completly acquitted
Simply asking one thing of us
Have Faith and give him all of our trust
I believe in you so please believe in me
Even on the days when it's hard for you to see
Walk by faith and not by sight
For I will protect you with all of my might
You belonged to me from the very start
I have always loved you with all of my heart
Trust me through the good and trust me through the bad
When your happy and when your sad
For I know the plans that I have for you
So take my hand and I will see you through
I will fill your heart with joy and peace
A special feeling that will never cease
All of your sorrows all of your tears
All of the burdens you have carried for years
Now rest on my shoulders
And are no longer your boulders
All your bad choices
Now turned into rejoices
Because Jesus died on the cross that day
All of our debts he did pay.
