His Eyes Poem by Marissa Camp

His Eyes

Serendipity I've felt.
You've been making my soul melt.
Again the worlds disappear,
Just you and I on this dirt sphere.

I've discovered two emeralds.
Thoughts flee, sanity unfolds.
I dream of the green allure,
A sight I'll endlessly savor.

Deep in those two precious stones,
Are questions asked in whispered tones.
Soundless to the physical ear,
But piercing in what spirits hear.

The window into the soul
Is where one finds life's loophole.
We discover what was meant
Before beyond was bent.

This moment reveals a glance
Of a concept captured by chance.
Substance between entities,
Sensed over seen identities.
