It is the fruit of the gods
It is a break in the clouds of life’s sky
It is rain for the garden in your soul
Accept it, and let the grass grow

Hold fast to love
Without it, life is a void
A nothingness with a constant dull ache
To remind you that you have nothing to live for
No hopes…a million fears

Hold fast to love
Open yourself to it and its tender pain
Use love as a key to unlock your soul
Build yourself a Heaven on Earth
A safe haven for when Life becomes Hell

Hold fast to love
Just don’t hold too tight
And whatever you do, don’t hide from love
To hide from love is to hide from life
And to hide from life is to die.
