Hold The Light Poem by R. Ariffin

Hold The Light

Rating: 3.5

How I wish you could feel the love that flows upon your feet
Waves upon waves of translucent magnificence
That washes away the sands that time have sown
Making you the immortal and invincible icon of hope and reason
That my heart would have ever known

It is waves upon waves of vast feelings that crashes only for you
And swirls and entwines in philosophical transcend
That would defy gravity and give in to rapture
All for the both sides of beauty that you represent
That set the entire stars flicker in meaningful gesture

Sometimes distrust and indecision are inescapable
Like bitter soul-stricken storm that inflicts from above
But no storm could ever take the world apart
So hold the light and embrace all hope my love
For I am the vessel that would bring you home to my heart
