I left and my world has fallen apart
For you made my world what it was
I decided to move forward only to step back
Missing the ambers of the fireplace sing us to sleep
Whispering through the late night of a simple life
Lost in solitude of an overcrowded street
I wish I could come to you, I want it all back
You watched me walk and run through the memories
All I have are the faded memories
I had no choice, but if I did there would be no doubt
I would have you over any place on earth
The world aligned at your centre and stood still
I have been gone so long, unable to return
I betrayed my heart, left you alone
How can I see what I love and no longer have?
You mean everything that I wish to hold
You are the keeper of my secrets and dreams
Letting my limits never unfold as they do now
It's too late to go back to paradise
Never a day I forget....
