Hold You So Tenderly... Poem by Lama Abbas

Hold You So Tenderly...

Hold you so tenderly so tenderly My Love...
You say the twinkling stars
The skies
Lands so far
Of great stories that come to us claded in astonishments
And glittering in superficial glory
Lands of Nobel Men nobler than their deeds
You say I'm destined to those heights
And to those far of heavens whose charms and tales have kept
Us from loving and adoring ourselves

You hold me Innocent love tenderly
To hide your fears of my flight...

And once again you say good bye...
And once again I have my excuse...
For your good bye says don't go
And when I say...
The Seas are rough
Winds blowth East...
(I say) Nor do I wish to leave...
