Holding On To Hope: A Poem Of Resilience Poem by Captain Harbeebiy

Holding On To Hope: A Poem Of Resilience

My heart feels heavy, my thoughts are bleak,
Each day is a struggle, I can barely speak.
The world around me seems to fade,
As I'm trapped in this dark, lonely shade.

The sun no longer brings me cheer,
Its light can't penetrate my fear.
I feel so lost, with nowhere to turn,
Hoping that someday, my heart will learn.

That life can be better, that hope still exists,
And in time, I'll find my way out of this mist.
But for now, my mind is consumed with despair,
And the weight of my sadness is too much to bear.

I try to find solace in the things I once enjoyed,
But my pleasure in them has been destroyed.
Each day feels like a battle that I can't win,
And I'm left feeling empty and alone within.

I wish I could break free from this cycle of pain,
And find happiness once again.
But for now, I'll take it one day at a time,
Hoping that someday, I'll see the light and shine.

Until then, I'll hold on to the hope that I have,
And try to find joy in the little things that make me glad.
For even in the midst of this darkness and strife,
I know that one day, I'll find my way back to life.
