Hollow Chest - Poem by Patrick Tincher

My chest is empty
There is a gaping hole
Your mouth sounded like a rifle
When you told the news
Keystroke after keystroke you delivered your message
A tale of woe and terror
I suffer but I will survive
My chest is hollow
Empty as can be
Luctor et emergo
