Holocaust Poem by venessa ambrose

Holocaust

What do you know about them?
Essence of faded humanity,
Raped of existence
Decree to the feeble.
Pierced spirits,
And wounded dreams,
Departed toil,
And the virgin's tears.
As the frigid bodies watched,
The end of their delusion,
By the cork of metals,
Souls became soulless,
The killers became the killed,
Lifeless to a race,
Overshadowed by a purpose,
The killers of themselves.
