Hologram Poem by Danielle Mari Nidea

Hologram

I fall down to the cold marble floor
Where diamond shards await me.
Typical, like all other traps, I say.
And you appear, you hologram.

A trap it is and a trap it'll be,
Those shards grip my skin so tight.
I lay hopelessly looking up at the sky, the only exit,
And you, you hologram.

My blood conquers Newton's law
And flows to you instead.
This nostalgic feeling crawls over me.
You blood magnet, you hologram.

I become pale as I loose more blood.
They abandon me for you. I try to cry
But I realize that you had already drunken
My tears, you hologram.

I look into your eyes; they reflect the universe.
I remember the thought of its size,
Of the emptiness I feel when I see myself
In you, you hologram.

What am I in the universe?
What is the universe in me?
What am I in your eyes?
Please answer me, you hologram.
