Homeland Security Poem by Rashida Mack

Homeland Security

The woman stood solid,
pushing against a wall,
behind the shield marched,
armed and uniformed men,
in open air,
on her own,
with two hands,
arms,
legs,
feet,
body moved
by the storm
of muscle and injustice,
she resists.
