Homeless Poem by Ashlyn Brena

Homeless

You saw stars in my eyes,
And you fell for my lies
I said come live in my heart-
and pay no rent
and hell you pitched up your tent.
You loved the way I played my guitar,
And felt sad when I was far.

I said in my heart it's were you belong,
You packed you bags
and came in, I was wrong.
I just wanted you to spread your legs.
Now wake up and sing with me
'Love is not real, love is not real'
and tell me how you feel.

There was no love for you
I kicked your buttocks and locked
the door to where you belong,
You're now homeless
So stand up, get my guitar, be strong.
'Love is not real' repeat the song,
then tell me how you feel.
