Hoover's Dam - Poem by Antonia Nasi

I haunt the Bridge at Hoover’s Dam,
Each night with watchful eye…

And wait as lovers fornicate
An untimely death they’ll die

Revenge is what I seek on them
Adulterers, young and old

For I, once too made love up here…
“I love you…”
I was told

A mistress I was scorned in death,
A whore, a jezebel…

No chance they have for an escape…
I love to hear them yell!

I leave my mark,
A blood-soaked heart…
On all their pasty skin

My task’s now done
Its course has run…

On the Bridge at Hoover’s Dam
