Hope Poem by Howard Osborne

Hope

HOPE

Hope rises, as bubbles to the surface
Pushing through dense watery doubt
Bursting up into salty air, free at last
Experiencing sheer relief and ecstasy
To mingle and enjoy sharing passion
For something wonderful to happen
Finally, after being trapped in limbo
Yet never fully resigned to such fate
Unlike brothers and sisters now lost
Who ached to escape that darkness
And those who tried, yet never did
But there's still a place for memories
And echoes of that valued company

Hope
