Hope Poem by Kariuki Samuel Mutiga

Hope

Just me alone
Plain-and cold as a stone
..around-plenty of air
Empty space for my eyes to stare
Society is out
Only me-around and about
...air and space
nothing else to showcase
There is security in multitude
-there is satisfaction in solitude
Family and friends i could lease and borrow
But only when i am solo
A genuine remedy for my sorrow
Me solitude and the air i breathe
No one else-just me and the one that am with
HOPE
