'Hopelessness' Poem by Alvin Willis

'Hopelessness'

Falling tears
Stray my fears

Unmoved thoughts
Keep me from the best

Pleasures once sought
Aren't in my chest

Laughing at nothing
Won't replace something

All alone
For even the sun is gone

I want to cope
So that I may hope

Can you hear
My loud whispers

Do you see me
Running and naked

Will you touch me
For I need to awake
