Hopelessness Poem by wybie writes

Hopelessness,
its such an indescribably odd feeling,
like having a hole in your chest, and your missing your vital organs and your lungs refuse to give you the air you need to scream for help,

its floating through your days, surviving but not living, ghosting through your life and not really taking anything in,

Hopelessness,
it is a dreadful emotion,
to be 13 and not feeling hopeful,
to be feeling as though your life, you yourself, mean nothing,
to suddenly be 16 and living a life you cannot recall

to all of a sudden be 16 and still feel like you died and 12 and to not be able to comprehend how you are closer to 18 than when you first remember thinking
'i cannot do this for much longer'

and maybe just maybe you begin to doubt your hopelessness because maybe just maybe you think youll make it to 20 and if you just wait a little longer,
and hope a little more,
things may
get
better
