Hostage Poem by Philip Hunter

Hostage

Wherever I'm going,
You're coming with me,
Then we will both see,
What lies ahead,

There is no returning,
To where we came from,
Things aren't the same as,
They were before,

So I'm taking you hostage,
You are coming with me.

And so will you,
If I must go on,
Be here with me,
And not alone,

What I demand is,
Too few to list,
One cannot have,
What doesn't exist,

So I'm taking you hostage,
You are coming with me.
