House Of Cards Poem by Suzanna C Chevalier

House Of Cards

House of cards come tumbling down
your façade is now on the ground.
Lies on top of the other
Fall crashing to the depths below.
Now lies are hard to keep track of
for the truth now shows.
The truth is better because you don’t
need a counter to keep track of what you said
soon or later the evil snake will rear its head.
Taking control of your life
tearing up relationships like a knife
bringing only misery and strife.
Yes, the snake of denial is very strong
it takes over then your stories are gone
Gone and wasted on the memory of the first lie
adding to your gigantic B.S. Pie.
