How I Miss You Poem by Toni Atchison

How I Miss You

And how I miss you
since your love has gone.
I miss your voice
and how you made me laugh,
the touch of your hand,
and your lips on mine.
The heart gets better, day by day-
I don't cry now when I think of you.
But oh, how I miss you
since your love has gone.
I miss being your love,
and being your best friend,
and the stories of your family
you'd tell me in bed...
and oh, how I miss you.
