Long ago I waited upon this day to come
I never lost hope because I never had anything to gain from
I long for you now as a plant longs for sunshine
Its time I understood that you will never be mine

I love you more the farther am apart from you
Its when I realized that my feelings are more than true
I miss whatever we shared together
It'll remain with me forever

I miss your smile which is like the cure to my tears
Your voice so beautiful like sweet music to my ears
Your thoughts so pure as milk can be
Yet am too confused with my own to see

These days without you seem to be the harshest ever
Now I realize the truth that for me your too clever
You always wanted to leave me from the day I loved you
Not because of the hate but because of the bitter truth
Sweetheart forever will I truly love you
