How Long? How Far?



“How long? How far? ”

Said Amy

As dust covered her eyes

Pale and impatient

As time grew

Hasting the day

Unnoticed



The wind blew again

Took another chance

Of breathing

She gasped and prayed

“How long and how far? ”

Then she smiled

Thanked

Smiled

Breathed her best

And the moment followed…



I never saw her like that before!
