Hug The Fate Poem by Chris Tasie

Hug The Fate

Friend, cry nomore
Surrender the battle today
You had been told before
Tears never win the battle any day

Memories of smiling yesterdays
Just stimulant for greater grief
Block all its ways
Could rob your hopes like the night thief

For real, school fees may suffer
The ice-cream may be punctured
But listen to this whisper
You had never defeat nature

Not oceans of tears could
You'd cried and seen
Neither solitary life would
So avoid questions that make you sin

World beyond, you'd meet again
Again to love, cherish and treasure
But here, he'd never reign again
What a pity; you can't fight nature

Dear friend, hug the fate today.
