Humans We Are Poem by Alexander S. McGuire

Humans We Are

It’s a sunny day in midsummer’s full sway
The sun pours down rain that glows
Beams of luminous praise such

A gift of the mother to the human race
This place is earth the one and only
I wonder why on this summers day

Say maybe we could all if this
Remember humans is what we are
But not all we can be see

Limitations we have not
Failures first but success is left
Remember that as we rest
