The sky hurls a symphony of anger,
Ascending fears into a hurricane,
Seeking shelter only within,
Ravaged by gargantuan tremors
Of paralyzing anticipation about the end.
Echoing mantras chanted by men
Vibrate in the stables of their beasts,
Understanding this dreadful shadow,
It's God's retribution
From the inner demons of their masters,
As for them alone... all must suffer.
The earth and the rocks must shatter,
The flowers and trees must burn,
The streams and the lakes must dry,
While the mountains collapse in sinkholes,
Where animals and man succumb,
And light descends into darkness.
As nobody truly desires to change their fate,
Eternally evading their divine potential.
