I Poem by Lyndsey Grant

I

Rating: 5.0

I talk to you
All the time
In my mind
Conversations boundless
Scenarios sad and spicy
I’ve played out our lives
A thousand times
I tell you how much I feel
It spills over
And stains you
There is so much
So much, I don’t know what to do.
Where will I put it?
Can you dig a hole
Inside your soul
And let me fill you up,
A little.
Or must I carry all the excess
Abundance of burden
