I Am Poem by William Hill

I Am

I AM

I AM one with all in the universe
This sublime life is like a gift and a curse
One day we will all be gone, nevermore
Waves of the ocean brushing the shore

I AM the moon and the sun burning so bright
That nothingness, that darkness seeking the light
Observing life as we move forward in time
A poem a verse that doesn't need to rhyme

I AM the King of my kingdom and the servant
Just say that you'll give it a try, don't say you can't
Seize the day, everyday, every possible way
And you'll see that there was never a price to pay

I AM the cool crisp summer breeze that blows through the trees
Nature's gifts, something that puts anyone at ease
Connect with Mother Earth always, for we are one
Learn to truly enjoy yourself, play, just have fun

I AM the child and the old woman
Never say you'll do, just say you can
A beautiful starry night, make a wish
Have patience human, try to catch a fish

I AM all the creatures of the deep blue sea
There is really nothing beyond you and me
We are the field experiencing itself now
We are the farm animals, horses and the cow

I AM the great circle of life I go on forevermore
The Awe in all can really be felt in your core
Connect with that Awe and your life will be pure bliss
Your grand story may be ended with a kiss

I AM life and I AM death, around and around we go
The dance of infinity, what a beautiful show
Some day soon your eyes will be open, you will be free
For you will see that you are the one that held the key
