'I Am' Poem by Zachary Buck Hultman

'I Am'

I am the breath in your lungs, the spark in your mind,
The whisper in the storm, the One outside time.
I carved the mountains, poured the seas,
Lit the stars and spoke the trees.

Before you cried, I knew your pain,
Before you fell, I broke your chains.
You seek justice? I am the scale,
You fight oppression? I split the veil.

I watched Pharaoh's kingdom fall in dust,
Freed My people, told them: 'Trust.'
I led the march through parted seas,
And still, I fight for the least of these.

They twist My words to build their thrones,
Turn temples into warzones.
But I was never in their gold,
I walk with those the world leaves cold.

They mock your voice? I gave it fire.
They steal your dreams? I lift you higher.
Speak truth, My child, don't bow your knee,
For chains can't hold who I set free.

The earth may shake, the heavens roar,
But love's the key that ends all war.
Stand in light, hold My hand,
You were made to rise—now take your stand.
