I am opening my eyes.
I see people around me rushing through life.
I hear the screams of a broken home.
I want to fix everything that goes wrong.
I dream of the perfect life.
I wish everything was the way it used to be.
I strive to do well in everything I do.
I try to make my family proud.
I am opening my eyes.

I need to feel loved by my family.
I can make a difference in someone's life.
I make the best of a bad situation.
I listen to the problems of my peers.
I touch the lives of those I know.
I taste victory and success in my future.
I feel the sadness of those around me.
I will love my family regardless,
of what they say or do.
I am opening my eyes.
