I Am Always Dependent On The Kindness Of Strangers

By Mohammad A. Yousef

Gentle hands reach out,
In the night, hope flickers bright,
Strangers share their light.

Whispers in the dark,
A smile can bridge the distance,
Warmth where shadows lurk.

Open hearts can mend,
When the road feels long and hard,
Love can help us stand.

Lost, I find a guide,
In the eyes of those unknown,
Kindness by my side.

Soft words like a balm,
Lift my spirit when it wanes,
Help from those I meet.

Every step I take,
Trusting in the world's embrace,
Strangers can be friends.

In a crowded place,
Laughter shared can heal the soul,
Together, we rise.

Life's journey unfolds,
With each hand that reaches out,
Hope is never lost.
