I Am Fortunate Poem by Mary J Stowers

I Am Fortunate

Rating: 5.0

I am fortunate.

Of all the faces I have seen,
The places I have been,
And blessings I have gathered on the way.

I stay fortunate.

The endless opportunities around,
The secret places only I have found,
The good and bad, the ones I frown upon.

I crave fortunate.

To sometimes lose yourself and be insane,
To guide and hustle, fail, and rise again,
To be a different note among the same,

I am fortunate.

Though I communicate just like an alien,
I love that part of me,
uniquely layered, radiant.

Always fortunate.
