I Am Not Dreaming Anymore Poem by Aldo Kraas

I Am Not Dreaming Anymore

I am not dreaming anymore
At night
Because there are
Nothing left for me to dream
At the moment
And that is the truth
When I sleep at night I sleep
Like a log
I never get up in the middle of the night
I also hear myself breathing nonstop
I need to get 8 hours of sleep
I can't function without sleep
My father
When I wake up in the morning
I am always waking up tired
My dear God
I would love to go back to bed
And sleep a few hours
But if I do that I won't sleep at night
Also, I am not a morning person
Also when I wake up in the morning
I have the morning blues
That is very difficult to get rid of
I am always going to bed early
Every night
I am always following my sleep
Schedule that my father made for me
Also, I must get 8 hours of sleep
Every night
Father, I can't function without sleep
