I Am Nothing But A Cell Poem by Han Min Ohn

I Am Nothing But A Cell

I am nothing but a cell
That has grown much too well
A sperm penetrated an ovum to form
Me, a fertilized egg, which started dividing around

From this egg many cell types were differentiated
Creating organs and tissues of which I am now made
So, I am actually nothing but a cell
That cannot change back to its original self.
