I Am Tired Of Being Fatigued Poem by Ali Rahimi

I Am Tired Of Being Fatigued

I am tired of being fatigued,
I was tired before I was tired,
I was tired after I was tired,
How could you be tired before you are tired?
I was already tired before I got the common perception of what tiredness is,
I was tired before I was born!
My feet are weak, but drag onward,
I am weary of sameness, oneness, repeats,
Knackered after breathing with boring folk,
Fed up with brainless shallow eyes observing all my moves,
Bored with the physiological functions and mental malfunctions,
The brawn fucking the brain right in the head,
The head an ashtray of dirt and cigarette butts,
The heart a coffin for the dead dreams,
The eyes locked by laws and taboos,
The hands shut by ropes of sacredness,
I am tired of being fatigued
I am tired of being fatigued
I am tired of being fatigued
I am tired of being fatigued
Looking at robust strong tireless people around me,
That often surround me,
Why the hell are they so joyful and lustful?
What do you think their secret is?
Why don't they get fatigued?
Why don't they get bored?
Why don't they get fed up with the flesh?
They look away not to see the sun,
They turn a blind eye to the moon
They turn a deaf ear to music,
They kneel not to see the stars,
They crawl not to face the truth,
They creep not to see the GOD above? ,
They look away not to see the pleading sad eyes of the Syrian refuges,
Why should we look within a circle?
Why should we breath in a lethal void?
Walk on the roads of normalcy and regularity?
A barbed wired mentality, closed to spirituality,
Emotional captivity,
Imprisoned intellectuality,
You can not sabotage my brain cells,
You can not pollute my heart with your filthy rules,
You can not shut my eyes with your decrees,
We are the FREE Empire, the LIBERAL Sovereign,
We are the MAJESTIC King,
We are the Sultan of twists and turns,
I am tired of being fatigued ……
