I Bow To Thee, Meghalaya Poem by Bipin Churchung Rabha

I Bow To Thee, Meghalaya

Oh, mother! I bow to thee, for birth on thy lap
Or for having fully rice-water and fruits
Or birds that chirp in thy green forest
Or for that chattering sound of hill streams.

Mother! Moreover, for that I can sing
On thy sweet voice beneath cloudy sky
Or make dances on thy mid green grass
By wearing thy beautiful traditional dresses.

I bow to thee, Meghalaya
I bow to thee, Meghalaya
I bow to thee, Meghalaya.

I Bow To Thee, Meghalaya
