I Can Touch The Sky Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Do you think I can touch the sky, with my hands?

When I step outside I can feel the air that is moving around.
Maybe do you think, I could touch the night sky?
There are so many stars to see, but yet it is so beautiful.

Where oh where could I be, do you think I am losing my mind?
I think, I can touch this sky above me.

If this night sky has stars, I’ll be looking up above.
But don’t you see, this view is so amazing.

When I see your face, it brings me to a warm place of love.
Even when you cry, I’ll dry them for you.

So when I touch this sky, I’ll say that I love you.

But when these stars are out, they remind me of your eyes.
They even put me to tears in these eyes of mine.

Only you would know, the way I feel about you now
and I know that I love you very much.
