I Cant Afford To...
I cant afford to
Betray the trust
We have build
From the past.
I cant afford to
Betray the colour of love
You have painted on me-
The love i now have
To protect, treasure
And to forever drown
In its pleasure.
I cant afford to
Betray the vows
We made at the river-bank
As the envious cows
Quenched their thirst
And the curious trees gathered close
To eavesdrop.
I just cant afford
To lose you
