I choose you to be my first
to value and treasure,
to your true worth
I choose you to be number one,
to be my first priority
beneath the sun.

I choose you to bring you joy
to help you define happiness.
to make the shadows of the heart meaningless
and for the days that we will be one
to give your heart contentment.

I choose you to stay true
By your side through the storms and the rainbow
support and tenderness to see your star glow
all the years to come, when we are one
my heart will yearn only for yours

I choose you to share my world
to let my dreams and my victories be yours
to dare walk on the other side with you
to accept you for all you are and to see you all for all that you can be! !
