I Confront a Danger But Not From the Alien Poem by Dr.jawaz Jaffri

I Confront a Danger But Not From the Alien

My dear world
That has been festooned by my forefathers
With the labour of generations,
My craze of war has brought it
To the verge of ashes.

The traders of weapons,
Concealing their face in the veils of peace,
Intend to make me realize
Through science fictions,

That my world confronts
A danger of extinction
From the alien invaders of other planets;

But I recognize the plans
Of genocide made by the clever murderers
Who wear the gloves of human friendship.

I am well aware of the fact
That my world confronts a factual danger
From within and not from the alien invaders.
