I Couldn'T Eat Poem by Josephine Dunn

I Couldn'T Eat

I couldn’t eat my Mother
When she died
Her face was disbelieving
When I lied.
It got so bad I had to say
Bye-bye.

But she nags me no longer
Because she’s six feet under,
She made one last blunder
And I said
Bye-bye!
